Cancellations and Refund Policy

At Throughlocals, we prioritize a flexible cancellation policy to enhance the experience for both guests and hosts. Here’s how it works:

Guest Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Guests can cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the activity for a full refund.
  • 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the activity will receive a 50% refund.
  • No Refund: Cancellations less than 24 hours before the activity or no-shows will not be refunded.

Host Cancellations

If a host cancels an activity, we will either reschedule it or provide a similar experience. If neither option is suitable, a full refund will be issued.

Refund Processing

All refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 7-10 business days to reflect in your account. Please note that some fees may be non-refundable.

Emergencies

In cases of emergencies, such as severe weather or travel restrictions, we will collaborate with guests to find a suitable solution, which may include full refunds or rescheduling.
