INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP Inform your host whether you intend to join alone or as a part of a group. While there are additional charges for extra participants, there is a limit to every booking. Please double-check your product.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED Keep in mind that any additional expenses, such as transportation (if not included), entrance fees, or other third-party services you opt for, are your responsibility and are not covered in the ticket pricing. Every product specifies exactly how transportation will be provided.

STAY CONNECTED Your contact details will be shared with your Throughlocals host and reach out whenever necessary, especially if there are changes to your plans.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS Provide your host with information about your appearance or attire so that both of you can easily identify each other on the tour day.

GETTING THERE Make sure to follow up with the host about the place to meet or pickup.

FASHIONABLY LATE? Being late is never in style, especially when someone is expecting you. Inform your host about any delays, and ensure your phone is charged before the tour. Huge delays will only affect your planned trip.

KEEP COMMUNICATION ON THROUGHLOCALS We strongly recommend keeping all written communication with your host within the Throughlocals group, which we create after booking. This will serve as a record in case of any unexpected disputes.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation 1 week before: no charges. Cancellations 1-7 days before travel: 30.0% of total booking cost. Cancellations on the day of travel: 100% of the total booking cost.
