The trek showcases the breathtaking beauty of the Western Ghats, offering spectacular views, diverse flora and fauna, and the serenity of nature in its purest form. The guides Sundar were knowledgeable and passionate about the environment, ensuring we learned a great deal about the local ecosystem and conservation efforts. The entire journey was well-organized, safe, and incredibly enriching. Gene Pool Trekking Had a wonderful experience of exploring endemic species of plants, birds. The trek was informative and educative. Along the journey we were able to find breeding of butterflies, it was a breathtaking sight. There were beautiful water bodies and also the end point was a mystical falls. Sure thing of beauty. The guides were patient and friendly to handhold the whole process and also with explaining every single minute details of the forest. We were able to enjoy fresh water. We were given a kit of refreshments and lunch. And also the gene pool includes aquarium, museum, herbarium and many labs. The place also include stays, where you can spend a day or two. You have great zipline, you can have a eagle view if the gene pool itself. If you want to spend a great weekend, you can skip dodabetta, rose garden etc to come here to have a extraordinary stay and weekend.
